Casey is 9 months old today. It's crazy to think that Matt has missed all but 5 weeks of that, and he was distracted with the impending deployment and new job for most of those...sigh!
But, today we started swim classes at the YMCA. It was a lot of fun. I would have to guess it was like Gymboree in the water. We sang songs and splashed and got our faces wet and blew bubbles, and floated, and kicked, etc.
The hardest part, by far, was getting us both dressed/undressed without anyone to help us. There really wasn't any place to "put" Casey so I somehow stripped while holding him with one hand. I finally figured out that they had like a big vanity area. I put a towel there after class, changed his diaper and was drying him off and he nearly rolled off and hit the floor. I caught him mid-air and he landed on his feet with his arm in my hand. He was a little shaken up by the "fall".
There was only one other mom/baby in our class so it will probably be cancelled. I'm bummed about it because it's the only day class other than Saturday and I can only imagine how busy that place is on weekends in January. The other 2 classes are at 6:30 pm and that means Casey would be getting to bed really really late. I will just have to wait and see.

I would talk to the "Y" and suggest that install a couple of Koala Stations.
I hope your class isn't canceled. It sounds like fun!
