I know that I am a month late posting about this, but better late than never. We had a great time at his party. Art and Pam (Grammy and Papa), Dad and Candy (Pap and Mimi) and Gran were all able to attend along with a variety of other family members. Thanks again to everyone who chipped in for Casey's playset or sent a birthday wish to him. Here are some of the best pics from the day.
He was a little unsure of all the singing!
Gran feeding Casey his cake...it was so sweet!
Pap and Casey horsing around with the balloons!

(It felt wrong calling Dad "Pap" here becuase that is what my grandpa, Gran's husband, was called)
Also, Casey had his two year checkup this past Monday. He is 37 inches tall, and weighs about 35 pounds. He is as heavy as the average 3 year old and as tall as the average 4 year old. He's a big boy but proportional. He had to get a shot and it about killed both of us, but he shouldn't have to get another one until he is 4 or 5...whew!

KAtie- what fun! Looks like it was a great party! Great pictures!
It was a great party! We really had a lot of fun.
We had a great time too, celebrating Casey's 2nd.
BTW, the reason your dad wants to be called PAP, because of the close relationship he had with him, and how he admired him.
Pretty cool, huh?
Unless they change things, I'm pretty sure Casey will be shot-free at three but will endure just one more at four. I'm dreading what the five-year visit has in store. I have a feeling it may be a lot.
Anyway, great pics! It is so nice how all of your families can come together like that.
